Please join faculty, staff, and students for the roundtable discussion "The Mass Media, Social Networks, and Technology" on Tuesday, October 7, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in Assembly Halls 1 and 2 of the Campbell Student Union. Part of the Diversity Dialogue Series, this timely event for all ages will be facilitated by Ramona Santa Maria, Ph.D., assistant professor of Computer Information Systems, and Michael Niman, Ph.D., professor of Communication, along with students and members of the Equity and Campus Diversity staff. Participants will explore the positive and negative effects that mass media, social networks, and technology have on today’s society.

The Diversity Dialogue Series, hosted by the Equity and Campus Diversity Office, is facilitated by community leaders in various fields as well as our own gracious faculty members. This series continues throughout the academic year and features a variety of activities that illustrate and enhance the role of equity and diversity on our campus and in our lives.
