Education Faculty Members Invited to Discuss Open Educational Resources: April 16

Please join Butler Library and Instructional Resources for coffee and a discussion on open educational resources (OERs) on Thursday, April 16, at 12:30 p.m. in Butler Library 314.

OERs are part of a growing trend in education. Benefits include cost savings for students and flexibility for teachers; however, locating and evaluating suitable OERs can be a challenge.

This discussion will address questions such as

  • Where can I find high-quality subject-specific OERs to use in my education courses?
  • What OERs can I share with teacher candidates?
  • Can OERs help improve my teaching and my students’ learning?

This discussion is part of a series of events tailored to individual disciplines. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided.

To read more or to register, please visit the CyberQuad Workshop Registration System.
