Early Childhood Music Classes

The Music Department's Early Childhood Music and Movement program will hold a free demonstration music class for children ages 0–3 on Saturday, January 31, at 9:30 a.m (18 months to 3 years) or 10:30 a.m. (birth to 18 months) in Rockwell Hall 107. The spring session begins Saturday, February 7, and is $105 for 10 classes.

To register, visit communityarts.buffalostate.edu.

Experience the joys of music making with your child. In this research-based program, skilled teachers will guide you and your child through carefully planned music and movement activities. These experiences will foster your child's innate musical and creative potential and help you recognize and reinforce your child's musical development. Classes feature a broad array of music and activities. Older children will be exposed to a variety of instruments, including special instrumental guests.

All classes will be taught by Kerry Renzoni, assistant professor of music and internationally recognized early childhood music education researcher, with assistance from Buffalo State music education majors.
