Advanced Certificate - Assessment in Higher Education (formerly Assessment in Student Affairs)

New Course:
HEA 655 Intercollegiate Athletics and the Student Athlete. Prerequisite: Graduate standing. Exploration of the history and philosophy of intercollegiate athletics, student-athlete characteristics and development, role and relationship between colleges and intercollegiate athletics, current issues and compliance, critical needs, and other specialized functions of athletic programs. Offered every other year, beginning fall 2023.

Course Revision with General Education 2023 Designation:
NATURAL SCIENCES AND SCIENTIFIC REASONING
ANT 321 Primate Ecology and Conservation. Prerequisites: ANT 100 or instructor permission. Study of living prosimians, monkeys, and apes, including taxonomy, social organization, feeding ecology and ranging, community ecology, and conservation; field studies of natural populations. Offered every other spring semester (odd years), beginning spring 2025.
