The following have been received in the College Senate Office and forwarded to the College Senate Curriculum Committee for fall 2022 review:

Course Revisions:
SWK 400 Evidence-Based Practice (formerly SWK 317 Research Methods in Social Work). Prerequisites: SWK 340 and SWK 350; social work majors only. Focus on investigating the research on evidence-based social work practices; analyzing research methods used at the micro, mezzo and macro levels of social work practice; ethical research; and history of social injustice within research, including Just Practice concepts to ethical research. Offered every semester, beginning fall 2023.

SWK 497 Senior Capstone (formerly SWK 497 Integrated Seminar II). Prerequisites: SWK 400; social work majors only. Integration of coursework and the demonstration of generalist social work practice behaviors and skills using a Just Practice approach at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels. Offered spring semester, beginning spring 2023.
