The following have been received in the College Senate Office and forwarded to the College Senate Curriculum Committee for review:

New Courses:
FLM 501 Survey of Television, Film, and Streaming Media. Prerequisite: Admission to the M.F.A. in television, film, and streaming media program. First-year seminar reviewing cultural, historical, and critical constructs of television, film, and streaming media; exploration of academic research avenues and professional opportunities in the field; analysis of current trends and practices in motion picture storytelling. Offered fall semester, beginning fall 2023 (pending program approval).

FLM 611 Production/Post-Production Workshop. Prerequisite: FLM 511. Hands-on advanced techniques in areas of production and post-production. May be taken for credit up to four times. Offered spring and summer semesters, beginning spring 2024 (pending program approval).

FLM 651 Cinematography. Prerequisite: FLM 501. Exploration and application of the principles of cinematography. Emphasis on aesthetics, composition theory, exposure, lighting, and selection of camera. Offered spring semester, beginning spring 2024 (pending program approval).
