Advanced to the Curriculum Committee

The following have been received in the College Senate Office and forwarded to the College Senate Curriculum Committee for fall 2015 review:

New Courses:
IDE 404 Interior Design Thesis Research. Prerequisite: IDE 401. Part one of the thesis project. Students advance their research and design skills required to meet a complex design project. Course addresses selection of client, site; in-depth precedent study; code and building analysis; evidence-based design and research writing; and design research methods. Offered annually.

TFA 470 Business of Television. Prerequisites: TFA 450 and instructor permission. Offered in New York City as part of the TFA Semester NYC program. Historical analysis of the television industry combined with a comprehensive curriculum covering the financing, production, distribution, and marketing of television programming. Offered annually.

TFA 471 Business of Film. Prerequisites: Television and film arts or media production major and instructor permission. Historical analysis of the film industry combined with a comprehensive curriculum covering the financing, production, distribution, and marketing of films. Offered annually.
