The following has been received by the College Senate Office and forwarded to the College Senate Curriculum Committee for review:
Course Revision:
DAN 201 Teaching Creative Movement. Preparation to teach creative movement to various populations. Emphasis on studio work, directing noncompetitive creative play, cooperative group problem solving, and structured improvisations. Students design and implement psychomotor, cognitive, and affective skill-building lesson plans using dance concepts. Attendance at a live dance performance is required.
