Conversations in and out of the Disciplines - 'Coursework to Practice: Au-some Experiences in Community-Based Learning' - October 21

The fall 2016 Conversations in and Out of the Disciplines Series begins Friday, October 21, when Kathy Doody, assistant professor of exceptional education, presents “Coursework to Practice: Au-some Experiences in Community-Based Learning” at 3:00 in Ketchum Hall 320. A Q&A and short wine-and-cheese reception will follow the talk. Everyone is welcome.

Please also mark your calendars for the next talk of the semester: Ann Colley, SUNY Distinguished Professor of English, will present “Recollecting the Future: Poland, Ukraine, and Coleridge” on Friday, November 18.

And stay tuned for more information about our upcoming talk by Ted Schmidt, associate professor of economics and finance, on December 2, as well as next semester's talks by Ann Emo, chair and associate professor of theater; Robert Warren, associate professor of biology; and Cynthia Conides, associate professor of history and social studies education.
