SUNY Buffalo State has officially submitted its application for Carnegie’s 2015 Elective Community Engagement Classification. A copy of the final version is available on the Volunteer and Service-Learning website (PDF). The task force thanks all members of the campus community who provided information and devoted time to the project through open forums, interviews, or other means.
Campuses that applied for the Community Engagement Classification will be notified of Carnegie’s decision in December, and institutions that receive classification will be publicly announced in January 2015. For details about the Carnegie designation or the application process, please see the Carnegie Foundation website.
