Campus House 'Cherry Blossom Fusion Frenzy' - May 1

The campus community is cordially invited to Campus House for its Cherry Blossom Fusion Frenzy on Monday, May 1, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. This celebration has been planned by students in the Event Management class to help kick off the fourth annual Cherry Blossom Festival in partnership with Friends of the Japanese Garden and Olmstead Parks Conservancy. Reservations are required, and seating is limited.

4:30 p.m. Doors open. Meet and greet Friends of the Japanese Garden. Cash bar. Enjoy Matcha ceremonial green tea and savory food stations.

4:45 p.m. Passed hors d’oeuvres.

5:15 p.m. Celebrity chef and undergraduate hospitality student Darian Bryan of Hutch's Restaurant will demonstrate preparation methods for various foods including the fusion of Japanese and Caribbean flavors.      

6:30 p.m. Parting gifts.

Cost is $20 per person. All proceeds go to Friends of the Japanese Garden.
