We are calling for volunteers to join Building Emergency Response Teams who help with emergency response situations on campus, evacuating buildings and informing first responders about special building conditions or characteristics that may determine the best response to an emergency. As part of this recruitment effort, UPD is offering a Community Emergency Response Training and Certification program in Disaster Preparedness, Fire Safety, Disaster Medical Operations, Light Search and Rescue Operations, Disaster Psychology, and Terrorism.
