AFP 2012 Highlight: Meet 2012 AFP Fellows

The Academic and Student Affairs Office and the Anne Frank Project are proud to announce the inaugural AFP Fellowship Program winners. Individual incentives of $500 were awarded to Buffalo State faculty members who showed strong evidence of connecting the themes and content of the Anne Frank Project’s annual conference to one course they are teaching during the 2012–2013 academic year. Faculty members from each academic school at Buffalo State were were invited to apply: the School of Arts and Humanities, the School of Education, the School of Natural and Social Sciences, the School of the Professions, and University College.

This year's AFP fellows are

  • Stephen E. Gareau, associate professor, Computer Information Systems 
  • Ruth X. Guo, associate professor, Computer Information Systems
  • Nanci M. Monaco, associate professor, Career and Technical Education
  • Carol A. Townsend, associate professor, Design 
  • Ralph L. Wahlstrom, chair and professor, English
