The NYS & CSEA Partnership for Education and Training will offer the informational webinar “Adult Education Basics” on Thursday, August 3, at 11:00 a.m.

Supervisors play a vital role in the growth and development of their CSEA-represented New York State employees. During this one-hour webinar, participants will discover

• the increasing need for Adult Education Basics training,
• the benefits associated with taking these classes for both supervisors and their staff, and
• upcoming courses and ways that supervisors can help employees with enrollment.

This fall, applications will be accepted for two related courses:

1. Enhance Your Skills: Reading, Writing, and Math Basics
2. Focus on Pronunciation: Level 1.

Upon labor-management request, courses can also be brought directly to an agency or facility worksite.

Webinar classes fill quickly, so please encourage leaders to register online as soon as possible. The registration deadline is Monday, July 31.
