Additional Fitness Classes: Zumba, Boot Camp, and Yoga

The Recreation and Intramurals program at Buffalo State is adding two exciting fitness classes and an additional yoga class for the remainder of the fall semester.

Zumba starts on Wednesday, October 17, and will be offered twice a week: Mondays from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesdays from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.    

Boot Camp, a tough workout with 30 minutes of cardio training and 15 minutes of core strength training, will take place every Thursday from noon to 1:00 p.m. starting October 25.

And because of great interest and success, we are also adding one more hour of yoga. The additional class will take place every Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

All classes will be held in Houston Gym 213 (the dance studio) and are open to all Buffalo State students, faculty, and staff.

Fall Fitness Class Schedule

  • Body sculpting every Monday and Wednesday from noon to 1:00 p.m.
  • Yoga on Tuesday 5:30–6:30 p.m., Wednesday 6:30–7:30 p.m., and Thursday 5:00–6:00 p.m.
  • Boot Camp on Thursday from noon to 1:00 p.m. First class October 25.
  • Zumba on Monday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. First class October 17.

All classes take place in Houston Gym 213.
