Zhang Jie, professor of sociology and director of the Center for China Studies, published his paper "Extracurricular Participation and Its Correlates among Chinese College Students" (PDF, 1.4 MB), coauthored with Zheng Zhao, Qiong Wu, and David Lester, in the Archives of Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy 1 (1): 1–4.
