Meredeth Lavelle, senior staff assistant, Art Conservation, was coauthor for the history of the 15th Decorators’ Show House: E. B. Green’s Wallace Estate, presented by the Junior League of Buffalo. Lavelle conducted extensive research on E. B. Green, David Wallace, and the history of Snyder as well as the development of LeBrun Road. Built in 1929, the mansion was designed in a French provincial style and is one of 160 remaining E. B. Green–commissioned structures in Buffalo and among his final residential dwellings. The show house is open to the public through May 17.
