Joy Guarino, assistant professor, Theater, will present “Kids Are Kinesthetic Learners: Why Aren’t Teachers?” at the Southeast Center for Education in the Arts’ 2009 Arts & Education Forum at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga May 8 and 9. The national forum will differ from conferences where program overviews and success stories are showcased. Instead, the forum will consider dilemmas encountered in providing effective professional development in arts integration, promoting teacher growth and change.
