Robert Delprino, Professor, Psychology; and Maureen Lindstrom, Librarian, Butler Library

Robert Delprino, professor of psychology, and Maureen Lindstrom, librarian, presented the session “Overcoming Conflicting Goals during Strategic Planning” at the Society for College and University Planning's 50th annual international conference, held in Chicago, Illinois, July 11–15. Lindstrom and Delprino were also invited to facilitate the roundtable discussion “Preserving Your Institutional Knowledge for Use in Strategic Planning.” In addition, Delprino served as an instructor for the pre-conference workshop “Laying the Groundwork for Strategic Planning.” This workshop was the first step of SCUP’s Planning Institute, a multistage program of instruction on strategic planning specifically designed for institutions of higher education. Delprino was recently invited to develop and structure the integrated planning process as a subject matter expert for the SCUP Planning Institute.

In August, Delprino presented “Changing Benefits and Officers’ Willingness to Stay on the Job” at the annual convention of the American Psychological Association in Toronto, Ontario.

In May, he chaired and co-presented the symposium “First Responder and Public Safety Families” with a former student at the International Conference on Occupational Stress and Health, in Atlanta, Georgia.
